2. Download the SODFEP-00224384-0042.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
3. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SODFEP-00224384-0042.EXE file to begin the installation.
4. At the "User Account Control" screen, click "Yes".
5. At the "Select Country" screen, select the country for this installation and click "Next".
6. At the "Sony Firmware Extension Parser Device Ver. 8.0.1.2" screen, click "Next".
7. At the "License Agreement" dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, select "I Agree" to continue with the installation.
8. At the "Finished" screen, click "Finish".
