2. Download the RNDUSB-00265238-1040.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
3. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the RNDUSB-00265238-1040.EXE file to begin the installation.
4. At the "User Account Control" screen, click "Yes".
5. At the "Select Country" screen, select the country for this installation, and then click "Next".
6. At the "Renesas Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller Update Ver. 2.1.28.0" screen, click "Next".
7. At the "License Agreement" dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click "I Agree" to continue with the installation.
8. At the "Finished" screen, click "Finish".
9. If the "Program Compatibility Assistant" screen appears, click "This program installed correctly".

After the computer restarts, the installation of the Renesas Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller Update is complete.
